Doug Kreis, PhD, PE, MBA, PMP, GISP
Doug Kreis serves as Director of the Kentucky Transportation Center at the University of Kentucky. He has over 30 years’ experience in transportation research and program and project management, and over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. Dr. Kreis earned a Ph.D. from UK’s Department of Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management. He also holds a BS in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Kentucky as well as a Master of Science Supply Chain Management from Penn State. He is a Professional Engineer and is also a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute. Doug currently lives in Richmond, KY with his wife of 25+ years and his four children between the ages of 11 and 19.
