Michael Cansler is a 2001 graduate from Murray State University where he studied Health Education and Occupational Safety & Health. He has worked in the construction material industry for the past 19 years. In 2010, he began working for Rogers Group, INC and currently holds the title of Area Sales Manager. Michael has served on the Kentuckians for Better Transportation board since 2012 and the executive committee since 2021. As the 2023-2024 KBT Chairmen, he is enthusiastic about advocating for Kentucky’s transportation network. He resides in Hopkinsville, KY with his wife Brittainy, daughter Grace Ann, and son Mason.
