Haley McCoy

President and CEO- entucky Association for Economic Development (KAED)

Haley McCoy is the President and CEO of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED). Prior to KAED, Haley served as Executive Director of Economic Development for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) in Versailles. Haley has served appointments in the Secretary’s Office of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development where she oversaw the 40 counties of the Cabinet’s East Office during the Steve Beshear Administration. She was also appointed Executive Director of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs for the Energy and Environment Cabinet during the Matt Bevin Administration. She was appointed by Governor Steve Beshear and Congressman Hal Rogers as a founding executive committee member of Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR, Inc.) and has served on numerous other boards including the Christian Appalachian Project, the Kentucky Historical Society and KAED. Haley is a graduate of Union College in Barbourville, KY and holds an MA from Lexington Theological Seminary. Haley also holds an Executive MBA from the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky joint Executive MBA program. Haley resides in Richmond, KY with her husband, Brian, and their two daughters.
