William is a native of Woodford County, born and raised in Versailles, KY. He attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2008 with a BA in Communication and Minors in Political Science and Sociology.
William recently took over as the Regional Director for State Government Affairs at Toyota North America. He previously worked for the past 10 years at R. J. Corman Railroad Group in Nicholasville, KY where he held various roles within the company, most recently as their Director of Government Affairs.
He is a graduate of several leadership programs including Leadership Kentucky class of 2023. He previously served as a Zoning Commissioner on the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning Commission and as a previous board member for the Woodford County Economic Development Authority.
He is a long-time board member and current Chairman of the Kentuckians for Better Transportation. He is a past President and current board member of the Versailles Kiwanis Club and is currently serving his second term as Magistrate representing Woodford County’s 5th District on the Fiscal Court. He lives with his wife Emily and their four children, Millie, Will, Molly, and Anne Kendall in Versailles.
