Todd Bloch

Aviation Manager- Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC)

Todd Bloch aviation career spans more than 32 years. Prior to his aviation consulting work with commercial and general aviation airport clients throughout Kentucky, Todd served as the commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Aviation. As commissioner, Todd was responsible for supporting airport maintenance projects and promoting aviation economic development, workforce development and education. He served as an aviation expert and policy resource for the governor’s office, legislative branch, airport leaders and the public. He has served the aviation industry at local, state and national levels.

Prior to joining the cabinet, he spent more than three decades serving in the U.S. Army and U.S Coast Guard. Todd held positions domestically and abroad including serving as a liaison to the Brazilian Army and as a search and rescue helicopter pilot. He flew missions from the Caribbean to the Arctic Circle. He completed his military career as the Coast Guard’s Director of Aviation Law Enforcement Training.

Todd is leveraging his Department of Aviation and military flight and leadership experience to help GMC’s airport clients throughout Kentucky and the Southeast. He resides in Frankfort with his wife, Brenda.  He has three sons, Barrett, Fletcher and Foster.  His son’s currently attending Eastern Kentucky University and Lindsey Wilson College.
