Former State Representative Sal Santoro of Boone County served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from
2007 until 2022. He served as chairman of the House Budget Review Subcommittee on Transportation, which played a key role in crafting the Commonwealth’s biennial road plan. Santoro represented the 60th House District, which includes part of Boone County. In addition to his previous chairmanship, Santoro also served on the Appropriations and Revenue, Banking and Insurance, Licensing and Occupations, and Transportation Committees.
Since leaving the legislature, Sal has continued to lead efforts to support transportation and infrastructure across the bluegrass. Presently, Sal is President of Santoro Strategic Solutions, LLC and represents VS Engineering in various capacities in Kentucky.
