Robert Franxman is the County Engineer and Director of Public Works for Boone County in Northern Kentucky. Robert has been the Boone County Engineer for the last three years and prior to that worked at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for nearly 20 years exclusively in the roadway construction and maintenance fields. At Boone County, the 50-person public works department consists of five divisions including public services, engineering services, fleet services, solid waste management and code enforcement. In all, the county owns and maintains approximately 425 miles of county roadways. Outside of work, Robert is a father of two boys, 25 and 14; and enjoys UK sports and golf.
