Rachel Bayens has over two decades of experience as a government relations and public affairs professional. She is a partner at Government Strategies, one of Kentucky’s first, most experienced and well-respected government relations firms, which she joined in 2002.

Rachel is an influential and distinguished professional in the Commonwealth’s capital. She has represented clients before the Kentucky General Assembly and the Executive Branch from various sectors including, health care, manufacturing, energy, education and transportation. She has worked with some of Kentucky’s largest corporations and most influential trade associations.

Rachel has been featured as one of Kentucky’s “Top Women in Business” by The Lane Report and was a member of the 2008 Leadership Kentucky class. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. A native of Marshall County, Rachel resides in Lexington with her husband, Dan, and son, Sam.
