Patty Dunaway, P.E.
Patty is currently the Office Executive for the Louisville Office of Michael Baker International. She is responsible for all operations and engineering work performed out of this office, as well as oversight of Michael Baker’s Charleston, WV and Indianapolis, IN Offices. Ms. Dunaway has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering. She began her career at KYTC as a scholarship student in 1990, worked in various areas including construction, design, and planning. She served as Chief District Engineer for the District Four Department of Highways Office in Elizabethtown for ten years and as State Highway Engineer for two years, before retiring at the beginning of 2018.
In 2011, Dunaway was named the University of Kentucky’s Young Engineer of the Year. Dunaway holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky.
She lives in Leitchfield with her husband Jerry and has two married daughters, Dawn and Tara, and two amazing grandchildren, Keller and Arlin.
