Naashom Marx

Program Director of Advanced Mobility Infrastructure- Woolpert

Naashom Marx is a nationally recognized leader in innovation, advanced mobility, and economic
development. Born and raised in Kentucky, she brings a global and community-focused perspective
shaped by her Peace Corps service in Bangladesh and her Master’s in Community Planning from the
University of Cincinnati.
Her early career reflects a commitment to bridging sectors to strengthen communities. She worked with
NGOs in Bangladesh and Uganda to connect nonprofit, entrepreneurial, and commercial efforts, and later
held key economic development roles in Kentucky—including Director of the Kentucky Innovation
Network Program, Business Development Manager for the City of Covington, Vice President of Business
Growth and International Trade at the NKY Chamber, and Director of BigCo Connections at Cintrifuse. At
Cintrifuse, an economic development engine backed by Cincinnati’s Fortune 500 companies, she helped
organizations adopt emerging technologies and supported regional startup growth.
Before joining Woolpert, Naashom served as Director of Strategic Innovation at the Cincinnati/Northern
Kentucky International Airport (CVG), North America’s sixth-largest air cargo hub. There, she advanced
autonomous mobility initiatives, deployed six autonomous vehicles, and led development of CVG’s
vertiport master plan, aligning new technologies with regional economic development, land-use planning,
and multimodal connectivity.
