Kenneth Bowen, PE is the Maritime General Manager for Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering and Testing, Inc, (BFW). He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a licensed Professional Engineer. He began his career as an intern with a major U.S. heavy civil construction company progressing his career to formerly serve as a Project Executive prior to transitioning to his role at BFW. He is an accomplished civil and construction engineering professional with more than two decades of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects to include locks and dams, heavy underground utilities, heavy earthwork, transportation, structures and landfills. His proven expertise encompasses every facet of project execution from conception to completion while fostering strong leadership and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Ken’s career includes building and leading teams to provide significant contributions to projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Major Power Companies, Airport Authorities, Port Authorities, and Multiple Municipalities within the U.S. Ken currently plays a pivotal role in advancing regional maritime infrastructure projects throughout the region.
