Jeremy Thompson

Regional Program Manager- KYTC Office of Transportation Delivery, Human Service Transportation Delivery Branch

Jeremy Thompson serves as the Regional Program Manager for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Office of Transportation Delivery, Human Service Transportation Delivery Branch. With a major in Health Care Administration, Jeremy has over 22 years of experience working with Non-Emergency Medical Transportation and nearly 27 years of total service to citizens of the Commonwealth.
In addition to Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, Jeremy manages other human service transportation programs such as the Department of Corrections Transportation Program, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services Transportation Program, and Blind Services Transportation Program.
Jeremy represents the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet on various committees including the HB144 Community Education and Community Outreach Committee, the HB 144 Employment Committee, serves on the Kentucky Interagency Council on Homelessness as part of the Homeless & Housing Coalition of Kentucky, Sate Plan Olmstead Committee, and has previously worked with the University of Kentucky Human Development Institute’s Transportation Initiative.
Prior to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Jeremy worked for the Department for Medicaid Services as Assistant Director of the Division of Program Integrity in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Jeremy is a 2025 Commonwealth of Kentucky and Kentucky Public Transit Association Hall of
Fame Inductee. Outside of his state service, Jeremy is an elected non-partisan Board of Education member where he resides serving as Vice-Chair and Legislative Liaison.
Jeremy, his wife of 26 years, one grown daughter, and one son also serve as Lead Pastor in their
local church. Jeremy’s mission is a life of servanthood and helping the most vulnerable.
