Jay Vorisek

Jay Vorisek, PE’s experience of more than 35 years has provided him with experience on transportation projects with decades of challenges and unique engineering and solutions. Since 1996, Jay has been at the forefront of modern roundabout engineering. He is recognized as a leader in the Midwest and has given presentations at numerous conferences and seminars. He has received over 100 hours of formal training in roundabout design and he has been involved with over 100 roundabout designs to date. Included in Jay’s design experience are many of the ‘first’ roundabouts throughout Indiana, in communities such as Bargersville, Beech Grove, Greenfield, Kokomo, Logansport, Johnson County, and Hendricks County. He also designed Indiana’s first multi-lane roundabout in Carmel, considered by many to be the roundabout capital of the Midwest. Jay specializes in using engineering fundamentals to develop solutions to increase safety at many high-crash Indiana intersections, improving the efficiency and functionality while minimizing impacts to the surrounding area in the process.
