Emily Herron is the Airport Manager at Henderson City-County Airport. Emily is a 3rd generation pilot and owner of a 1946 Piper J-3 Cub and has been deeply rooted in the world of aviation since childhood. She has more than seven years of airport operations experience and holds an Instrument-Rated Private Pilot certificate with a tailwheel endorsement. A proud graduate of the University of Kentucky, Emily passionately advocates for airports and the important role they play in the Commonwealth and in the National Transportation System.
Along with co-chairing the KBT Aviation Committee, she is a member of Women in Aviation International, and the KY Airport Zoning Commission.
