Amanda Davenport serves as the Executive Director for the Lake Barkley Partnership and Treasurer/Secretary for the Kentucky Association for Economic Development. For the past eight years, Amanda has worked in both rapidly developing Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and in small communities in rural Kentucky. Her community work focuses on creating more investment opportunities across the region to support business expansion and industry attraction. Amanda is a champion of regionalism and rural communities. She has worked on a variety of both economic and community development projects including site development, historical preservation, downtown revitalization, business expansion, and workforce development. Amanda is a native Texan living in rural west Kentucky. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Murray State University and MBA from Texas Woman’s University. She now resides on a small farm with her husband Joe, daughter Cora. She has far too many house plants and enjoys cooking spicy food.
