Please note that due to an unexpected change in the House Legislative Calendar, the Fly-In dates have been changed to one week earlier than initially scheduled. 
THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY EVENT. 

Each year, a group of KBT Members travel to Washington D.C. to meet with our Kentucky legislators and discuss the importance of multi-modal transportation. This is a current KBT Members Only event.

KBT’s Annual DC Legislative Fly-In

April 30- May 1, 2026

$1500 Member Rate
$1250 Government Member Rate

(Base Rate includes 1 night at Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, all snacks, drinks and lunch while meeting at the Capitol, Cocktail Reception and Dinner at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab and Friday breakfast at Capitol Club).

$425 Wednesday Evening Hotel Room at Hyatt Capitol Hill
$100 per person Wednesday Evening Group Dinner (location TBD)

Wednesday, April 29

Early arrivals, check into hotel, etc.

Possible Private Evening Tour of Capitol

Optional Group Dinner- location TBD

Thursday, April 30

9:00 am Meet at Capitol- Room TBA (a group will meet in hotel lobby at 9:15 to walk over)

9:30 am- Meetings with legislators from 9:30-4pm

12pm- Buffet luncheon 

4pm- Walk back to Capitol Hill Hyatt

5:30pm- Rideshare/Taxi/Uber to The Oceannaire 

6-9pm- Cocktail Reception and Dinner at The Oceannaire

Additional $250 Spouse Rate for Thursday Evening Dinner 

Friday, May 1

7:30- Meet in the hotel lobby to Rideshare/Taxi/Uber to Capitol Hill Club (recommend to check luggage and/or arrange late checkout at the front desk before leaving). 

8am- Breakfast at the Capitol Hill Club

8:30-11am- Additional Guest Speakers

11am – Fly-In Concludes. Self transportation to the airport, hotel, other meetings, or wherever your heart desires.
