44th Annual Kentucky Transportation Conference
About the Conference
Each year KBT hosts Kentucky’s premier transportation networking and educational event. On January 19-21, 2022, business leaders, government agencies, local, state and national government officials, economic development advocates, among many other areas of expertise will converge and explore transportation industry issues. Attendees and speakers will span all modes of transportation – air, highways, local streets and roads, rail, public transit, and waterways – to discuss investment in infrastructure, innovation and technology and our dynamic economic times. We will focus on the important role a safe, efficient, multimodal transportation network plays in growing our economy and enhancing quality of life.

Each year, a group of KBT Members travel to Washington D.C. to meet with our Kentucky legislators and discuss the importance of multi-modal transportation. This is a current Members Only event.
Registration fee is $1450 which includes Thursday lodging at Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, all meals including cocktail reception and dinner at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab on Thursday evening and breakfast at the Capitol Hill Club on Friday, and ground transportation during the fly-in. Flight to DC is not included in this rate, and you will be responsible for booking your own flight and transport to the hotel upon arrival. See suggested flights below.

Wednesday, May 15th
Group dinner for early arrivals
Thursday, May 16th
Morning flights arrive/check in at Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill
11am- Walk to Capitol/Senate Visitors Center (SVC)
11:30am- Lunch at Senate Visitors Center
12-4pm- Visits with KY Legislators at SVC
4pm- Return to Hyatt
5:30pm- Depart for dinner
6-9pm- Drinks and dinner at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab (legislators invited)
9pm- Return to Hyatt
Friday, May 17th
8am- Depart for Capitol Hill Club
8:30-11am- Breakfast at Capitol Hill Club and continued visits with KY Legislators
11am- Leave for DCA or return to the Hyatt
